We visit family and friends in England before catching a ferry to the top of Spain.
We will follow the Basque coast from Santander to San-Sebastian, then up into France to follow the Loire River to Digoin. We then head across country to the Saone River, following it to Dole where we pick up the Danube River. At Montbeliard we leave the Danube, and after a quick side tour to Strasbourg, we will head to The Rhine at Basel.
Following the Rhine all the way to our destination in Budapest skirting around Vienna up into Czechia and Slovakia to experience some of the old Iron Curtain towns.

780 KMs up the Eurovelo 3 from Saint Jean de Luz to the Loire River at Tours.
Staying at Saint Jean de Luz, Bayonne, Dax, Mont do Marsan, Bourroit-Bergonce, Toulenne, Saint Emillion, Chevanceaux, Angouleme and Tours.
940 KMs along the Eurovelo 6 from Tours to Cernay.
Staying at Tours, Loches, Amboise, Blois, Beaugency, Orleans, Saint Martin sur Ocre, Sancerre, Nevers, Bourbon Lancy, Palinges, Remigny, Verdun sur le Doubs, Dole, Besancon, Longevelle sur Doubs and Cernay.
A 100 KMs detour up the Eurovelo 5 into the Alcasse wine region.
Staying at Cernay and Colmar with a day trip from Selestat.
Back on the Eurovelo 6 following the Rhine River.
